I still think the
issue of faith based school funding is threatening to overshadow many other key issues in this election. I'd rather have a functional educational system before engaging in the question of how to dismantle and reconfigure it. Nonetheless, it's clear, as it must have been to John Tory's pollsters, that this issue may gain some traction in the 905. Interesting that Dalton McGuinty is now severely attacking faith based funding as segregationist,
a proposal he not that long ago seemed open to.

McGuinty's position is hypocritical, unprincipled, inconsistent, and undefensible.
One school system is the way to go. Newfoundland did it and it wasn't that big of an upheaval.
The money saved from the all the duplication and redundancy in propping 4 school systems, could be put in the classroom where the kids are.
